Sightseeing Tour of Miami
This tour will begin on board our luxurious and comfortable Sightseeing Tour buses in world renown South Beach, where the best beaches, amazing variety of excellent restaurants, and nightlife take place. We will leave Miami Beach and cross the Biscayne Bay on the famous Macarthur Causeway. This causeway you will find out is the center of innumerable ads and TV commercials.From here you will absorb gorgeous views on the right of Star island, Hibiscus Island , Palm Island, and Fisher Island -all famous for the mansions of the celebrities and the rich. On your left you will appreciate the imposing Port of Miami and the gigantic cruises that call this Port Home. We have truly earned the name “Port Capital of the World”
As your Tour of Miami continues, Macarthur Causeway will connect you with mainland Miami, and you will be encountered by Downtown Miami Skyline-among the world’s longest city skylines. Of course this skyline is famous for its impressive number of hotels and condominium residences that exude modern and contemporary architecture unlike very few in the world and each building bears the signature of the world’s most famous architects and designers.
The next stop will be Coconut Grove District; a neighborhood loved by locals for their beautiful views of yachts sailing into the bay and its many restuarants and their faamous Shopping Mall Cocowalk.
The next stop will be the City of Coral Gables -Miami’s First Suburbs. The impressive, impeccably maintained spanish-style architecture mansions are reminiscent of Europe’s best neighborhoods, and the tree-arching over their streets are sure to make some memorable pictures. The Biltmore hotel displaying a flamboyant mediterranean flair,sitting on the city’s center, will come alive as our professional tour guides share the history of this impressive building. Of course no visit to Coral Gables would be complete without a stop at the Venetial Pool, an aquatic facility like no other in the world. It was made in the 1920’s from coral rocks and it is daily fed by natural springs and acquifers. It is embellished by cave like grottos, fountains, waterfalls ,and porticos, loggios, and statues, and palm tree that make this stop an unforgettable one.
After Coral Gables, we will cross the city on famous Calle Ocho (eight Street) where the world’s largest street party is held every year until we reach Little Havanna. This is a pictureque, traditional latin neighborhood full of restaurants, cafes, cigars, souvernirs, and local domino park where you can see the locals playing or appreciating a good game of domino while sharing with you anecdotal stories about Miami’s history.
On the way to our next stop at Bayside Marketplace, you will appreciate historic Freedom Tower, a current memorial to cuban migration to this city for more than half a century. And across the street you will gaze at American Airlines Arena possible the country’s largest and definitely most contemporary and modern arena where the Miami Heat play continously and artists from all over the world perform weekly.
Once at Bayside Marketplace, shopping plaza resting on Miami’s Biscayne Bay that caters to millions of tourist each year. This plaza is dotted with endless souvenir stores, name brand clothing stores, designer shoes, the latest perfumes, and more than 40 restaurants from all over the world. You can enjoy this entire facility while looking into an impressive array of Yachts and boats docking on its marina every minute.
